How the heck does this thing come out?? Everything is loose but I can get enough forward movement to get it out of the rear end. I have tried to disconnect the driveshaft to get more travel but after driving out the pin in front of the coupler I cant get the drive shaft loose to slide everything forward. I know I should get the manuals....... |

What year 140? They had 2 different styles of trans in them over the years. |

David, As I recall, the manual has you remove the transmission and rear axle as an assembly. Disconnect the drive shaft, linkage, brake rods, 4 bolts for the axle mounting and the two triangle side-braces. Then lift the frame and roll the axle assembly aft. it would look like this (below) except with the wheels still on it.

GOT IT !! Drove the yoke forward enough to free trans. Soaked yoke and finally got that free and loose for the reassembly. Ordered gasket that goes between the trans and rear and then I can go back together |
