Duwe, I agree that we need one every year. I would be glad to do this but my land is on a beans corn rotation but we could try to plow stalks under. I could hire someone to chop the stalks in the fall but I don.t think it would work too good. I will give it a try on the neighbors land if he will let me. I also could try to get my renter to put one of my farms in beans ever year then we would just have to alternate locations. Drew if you want to you can plow my field the other way the next weekend.lol you are going to have a hard time finding a farmer willing to let you plow a hillside. if they are in a program it is considerd Highly Erodable Land or HEL turning this is like kryptonite to superman, very scary danger |

Hmm, this thread did a 180 didnt it? New posts on top now vs the bottom like it was earlier. We need some repeat spring plow days so we can get repeat customers and then new guys to get a big crowd |

I "thought" I posted this earlier today...., but if you need any ideas or have questions on hosting a plow day both Mike Drew and myself have done it in the past, feel free to ask |

Sounds attractive. Probably about 1.5 hours from me. If i still have it, I will bring my mitsubishi 4x4 compact tractor out to plow and pull cub cadets out of the mud. |

I am trying to plan a plow day for this spring, looking at the first weekend in may. have got 15 acres of bean ground we can tun. Land is flat and mainly additive free (rock). It has a low spot but i will have my ag tractor there with a chain if anyone gets too close but should be no problem. I will have a porta potty and my brother lives there if someone needs real facilities. will set up some tents too.I can have a welder and air compresser there. driveway is big enough to get a semi in.not sure on food but mu brother said he could set up a stand on his back deck for soda and chips.Would be open to all breeds. Any advice on this, Shannon |
