Great pictures guys thanks for posting.

Tom
Still the gas one. Every time I think I have everything bought I find something else I need. I already have twice what I thought I would have in it and I still have to get some things. Oh well I guess that is why we have these hobbies.

Hi Everyone,

Kevin, looks like plowing went real good,You better get another 140 for you to plow with, because I think your daughter is going to take that one!!
I think we should have brought my trailer full of cows up to eat that clover to get it out of your way, they would have loved it.

Faron, is that your 420 diesel or still the gas one?

Hope to see you guys at a plow day soon!!!!!!!!

Take care Tom & Donna B.

the farm has gotten less than a 1/10 of an inch, and it looks like the next batch might go north of us, we are going on rain or shine, if it rains, we will find something to do, lol.

Hey Kevin
It looks like we are all going to get more rain tonight can the ground up there handle much more before it is too wet to plow? We will take a look at the radar in the morning before we head out but have a little over a 2 hour drive so if it looks like a pretty slim chance of plowing we might cancel tonight.
Thanks
Faron

Is the new lunch plan BYOL? I am fine with that also just curious. Thanks Kevin for trying to make this happen. Looks like the only chance we might have to plow this spring the local one for tomorrow has been canceled. We were beat to the fields by the big boys

Climax Plowday Update. We are back to the home farm for May 2, only have about 5 acres to play in, the field we were going to use will be planted before sunday, sorry, I will be at the farm, rain or shine, all are still welcome to attend, this is the last chance for plowing. Address is 14302 E. O.P. Ave, Climax, MI 49034, the same place we have been the last 2 years.

Kevin,

Good call for today. We've had several rounds of very heavy rain and a few thunderstorms so far this morning about 30 minutes northeast of you. Too bad I forgot to put out my rain gauge.

Thanks for letting us know early Kevin. We won't have to get up early in the morning to look at the radar and make a decision now. We have the tractors on the trailer sitting in the barn so we are mostly loaded up well in advanced. We are planning to attend a plow day fairly close to home on Saturday then travel to your place on Sunday. That should satisfy the playing in the dirt urge for the weekend!

Don't see why not. As far as I'm concerned, you can plow with anything on your tractor you want, as long as it will make it up and down the field.

Sorry, no rain date planned, I don't have a lot of spare time, if it looks bad a few days before plowday, I will try to plan a rain date.

Plenty of room for trading, camping, general horseplay, plowing, tug of war, whatever we can come up with. Address for plowday is 16597 East ON Ave, Climax, MI 49034. It is located 1.8 miles east of the village of Climax on ON ave, large brick house near the road, we will be plowing the long field behind the barns. If we have enough people coming early, we may do some night plowing on Sat., depends on how many are there. There are hotels in both Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, both within 20 miles of Climax, lodging shouldn't be a problem for anyone, camping is welcome as well, no guarantee on having electricity for campers though.

plowday update, after consulting with the people that are renting the farm, we have a change of location, to a different farm owned by my family, with up to 60 acres to plow. My wife wants to change the food, she will do everything for lunch, cost will be $5 per person, let me know if this is something that would be acceptable.
