Jim, your plow looks great!! I need to tear mine down and do it right this winter. I was in a hurry this past spring to get ready for plow day and just slapped a new share on and a thin coat of paint. It needs some hardware replaced, torn down, sand blasted, and repainted original color.

Got the plow ready so we are basically ready to PLOW. Notice there is no coulter on the plow because we are having stainless steel ones laser cut right now in both smooth like original and scalloped edge ones. If anybody needs one for their plow e-mail me and I will give a price and can bring some with us to plow day.

I am getting excited 2 months to go................ PLOWDAY..........PLOWDAY..........Almost done getting ready, got the plasma cutter out and started another hub cap to keep the dirt from packing in the wheel while plowing have to make the holes larger and square for the carriage bolts.

Should look like the one I made last year for the 317 when finished, Did such a good job keeping the dirt out I had to make one for the 332.

Speaking of weight, We just got the wheel weights mounted on the 332 and picked up a few more suitcase weights to hang on the front of it. I still have to paint the front weight bracket and 3 point hitch and now the weights but I am almost ready for plowday and hope top have 2 tractors with us.

Also got the A-frame sleeve hitch and suitcase weight bracket finished ready for black paint.

Hey Guys
I swapped the 3pt hitch from the 332 to the 330. It will be my plow tractor up there more than likely. I may have the 430 done by then, Im not sure yet though.

Hey Drew...Hard to say how many tractors will be there. Last year we had about 35, even with the bad weather. If the weather's good this year, we'll probably double that easily...Elliott

Hey guys...We'll be making up T-shirts for the Mayfield Show & Plow Day for sale. We'll also have "Goodie Bags" for those who attend, and a NEW show button & exhibitor ribbon.

I'm working on getting special hotel & RV campground rates for those who are coming in from a distance. I'd like to get a rough number of those folks needing a hotel room for either Thursday / Friday or Saturday night...Elliott

Got the last thing we needed in order to plow with the 332, a 12 inch 3 point plow looks like its in really good shape just a little rusty but by the time it gets to plow day that should be taken care of.

Elliot, Are you going to be able to attend the Alabama Plow day also? We are going to try to make both and are probably going to bring the 140 to Mayfield Plow day and bring the 332 to Alabama Plow day but are not 100% sure yet. Might end up just bringing the 332 to both.

Jimmy...I'm glad that Kyle enjoyed plowin' so much. He took to it like a duck takes to water. Chad...it will be GREAT havin' more Tennessee neighbors at Mayfield. Vince...I'll supply the red cedar for whittlin'. Drew...I'll bet you'll have your 430 all ready to go the distance . Jim & Alan's 140 is a real show-stopper. Im 99.9 % pos that I and family will be there. .01 is cause women change their minds as much as the wind blows in winter up north. If I bring the family Ill be bringing my 106 again, with the new clutch thats still sitting on the front seat, Lil Vinces 100 and Dannys 67 110, if he ever cleans his room! This sounds like a good time, so count me in!

Do I need to bring my own piece of cedar or will someone provide it for me?

I'm going to be there, not sure what tractor I'll bring but I'll bring one or more.
Drew I wish I hadn't plowed with that 332, now I really want one.

Elliott, that grandson of mine you started on the plow has talked of nothing else. He has found a Cub that he can get and work on. He sure is hooked.

I'll be working on getting Show Exhibitor discounts at a close by RV camp ground & a national chain hotel (all within 4 miles of Mayfield Farm). More to come later...Elliott

I hope we will see you & Alan again with your beautiful tractors? I'm especially looking forward to seeing your super 317 yellow & white in plowin' action ...Elliott
