Mark, It's a 230 VAC three-phase; I'll ether get it going with a small VFD or build a small rotary phase converter. Built a larger one for my lathe and it works well. Will, I moved it over to the tools, trucks and trailer forum. Dave J. |

adam, a good way to preserve your deck is to have it powder coated. not buy the guy down the street who can do it, but by a company that specializes in it. i had mine done about 2 years ago, a perfect j.d yellow match, and the grass does'nt stick to it. |

Adam, Thats not messy, it's just well used. At least thats what I tell my neighbors and wife. Paul. I know how much work it is to make something turn out that good. You have been busy and it looks like it was well worth it. Love the look of that "110" Great work. Max |

Just finished cleaning out all the grass the PO had left under the deck on my "new" 85 430. I surprised at how good of condition it is in. Is there something you guys know of to protect the deck from rusting out? I hope dust and grass aren't unhealthy since I've been blowing my nose and coughing for the last hour! I'm sure all you guys can relate. Overall this tractor is in great shape, 657hrs on working hour meter. I cant wait to see how this thing cuts grass, come on spring!!! Sorry about the messy shop, I've gotten myself into too many projects lately. Adam |

My winter project is just about finished. (I posted a few more photos in the RF section.) This started out as a '67 112. Lowell Gates fabricated the 3pt on the rear. I had to fabricate it a bit to make it work with the steering post mounting under the tractor. Paul

All the snow has melted from my yard. I bought this 30 tiller this winter and got a chance to hook it up to the 3 point this weekend of my Kohler 28 EFI powered 420. Still need to mount the clutch and get a set of belts for the pump. Also made a new weight bracket for the wider frame of the 400 series tractors. Needs a hold down bar yet and some paint.

here is a good one for you guys. my uncle bought a 1969 140 h-3 patio tractor brand new in 69. it was orange and white. he bought it from my uncle who was a dealer. years later my dad now has that same tractor. yesterday i was out in the garage and looked at the serial number and the tag says TO583 and not 584. like i said, it was bought from the family dealer, we have pictures of it from back in the day, but some where along the line something went wrong. |

Hey everyone thanks for the info on the vent for the rear dif. When I changed the fluid on mine I just pulled the vent tube loose to let the air out. I wondered what would happen in the summer heat when it is being worked. WFM is a real help for us dummys. Makes you wonder how many other questions I should have asked and haven't. Hey all. Just wanted to update a few people who were waiting, and let anyone else know, I finally got stuff in to make what Ive been waiting on for about a month (or longer) now...two types of skids for the 49 thrower, 30 tiller upper and lower factory type mounting brackets and the 30 tiller 3-point mounts. Ads coming soon to a For Sale section near you! Sorry its taken so long to get to this point, but I was at the mercy of another supplier. Just felt I should post a public apology and a thank you to those who have been so patient. Ill be busier than a beaver the next few days welding and assembling to get these ready as fast as I can for you guys... |

It might take a little more James. If you accidentally overfill it you can remove the sight glass to drain off the excess. AJ |

James To my knowledge the 332 does not have that filter. If it does my 322 and 430 don't have it.Neither did my old 332 or 318. If you want it to flow faster take off the site tube at the transmission. It can then breath and flow faster. Otherwise patience grasshopper. AJ |

Does anyone know how I can contact Mr. Kurt Randall? I purchased my 1967 110H from him last fall when he posted it on this website but since then I have lost his phone number. I would like to show him how the restoration came out. Any help would be appreciated. |

I need some help I have a 332 and just attempted to change the trans fluid, well I got the old fluid out and put the new filter on. My question is when I go to put the new fluid in, it fills super slow. Is there a vent some where that may be cloged? Thanks James |

I just wanted to write a little note to recognize a company for a GREAT experience that I had this morning. I called Miller Tire (a supporter of this site) this morning to order some new front tires for my GT. The phone rang twice and was picked up by a REAL PERSON! Wow, you don't get that much anymore. The lady that answered the phone was the most pleasant person to deal with. The transaction went smoothly, quickly and she was a pleasure to deal with. Miller Tire WILL get my business in the future. Thanks |

GRP - I received the same email last week, and one before that stating that I haven't logged in in quite some time and I should check out the forums again. Tractor by Net is a legitimate forum, very similar to this one, but more geared toward the CUT and SubCUT varieties, I'm fairly certain that Muhammad Chishti is an owner, or the owner of the site. I chalked it up to TBN doing a little house keeping and trying to drum up participation. I am a member there and I haven't logged in in a while, so the emails made sense to me. Clint |

Hi Scott, and welcome to WFM! Turfs with chains are a lot more effective than ags with chains on an icy surface - the chains tend to get lost in the valleys on the ag tires. More weight will definitely help with the traction too - it makes more difference than you'd think! Regarding 3-point hitches, I have heard nothing but good about the Ruegg hitches, and some mixed reviews of the Redland Hill. Go with the Ruegg, especially as they are a site sponsor! Tim |
