For those of you with Onan powered Deeres. This site has a printable parts manuals/catalogs (in pdf format) for different model Onan engines. They are not the complete manual but a great source of "blow ups" and part #"s for Onan engines.

This is a link to an article on Engine oils. It covers many of the aspects, and types including synthetic. For example, did you know that the "W" is for Winter, not Weight?

Since we are always getting questions about oil, like what does everyone use in the winter, here we go!

Thanks for the bolt supplier link! Here's a link to the Fastenal website. They have an outlet in the Cedar Falls, Iowa industrial park just North of HWY 20. I go there often and find what I need. This company has served me well. Not just nuts & bolts, they have rivets and all sorts of supplies for fabrication.

We Iowa farm boys are a little out there in left field. In fact the Deere neighbors we had always thought we were a little weird. This is the first video my brother "Farmer Ed" and cousins did. Another is in the works but it takes a while to get everyone together and get shots done. Especially our clan...

Feel free to pass it around we are trying to see how many hits we will get for the first six months.

My cousin sent it to David Letterman, Fox and Friends, and Jay Leno trying to get some exposure but they are just waiting to see if anyone puts it on TV at the moment. If you know any TV shows that would run a clip, feel free to send it to them too.

Sit back, get a cup of coffee and watch a 20 minute video about farm life from the IH perspective.

Remember to send it to your friends and relatives and get us as many hits as you can at:

Have a leaking Welded Power Steering Cylinder for a 318, 420, 430 ect? A shop local to me was able to open up and replace all the seals in my 430's cylinder for $90. I asked, and they said they'd be happy to do the same for others. Your price may vary somewhat due to shipping. I've used this shop for all my hydraulic needs, and they have always been very good to work with. Give them a call and ask for Ryan.

Here is a link to find parts for your tractors from a variety of brands. Good site and easy to use. Use to get diagrams of your equipment for repairs as well.
