Robb, This is the condensed post of the transmission cooler for my 322 that you requested. These parts will also work for a 317 and 332. Here is my parts list: (1) 12" Dual Pass Aluminum cooler from www.hotzoneperformance.com Part# HZ-0050-1 (2) 1/4" NPT male to 3/8 JIC dash Size 06 male adapters (2) 3/8" Hydraulic hoses e/w 3/8" JIC dash size 06 female straight tube connector and a 3/8" JIC dash size 06 female 90 degree tube connector. (48 inches end to end) Another option is to use a hose with straight connectors on both ends and use two male to female 90 degree JIC fittings. (1)1/8" male to female 90 degree street elbow First you need to add a 90 degree elbow for the sight tube line since it is in the way. I replaced the rubber hose with a clear PE tube. This makes it easier to see the fluid level. The cooler is mounted on the right side of the frame. It is 12 inches long with two mounting legs of about 1 inch each. Total space required is 14 inches. Be sure to use all four mounting bolts. A good mechanical connection to the frame will allow the cooler to use the frame as an additional heat sink.
You cannot drill the mounting holes for the cooler from inside the frame. I made a jig with a piece of angle iron to copy the bolt spacing of the cooler.I drilled the bottom hole and then squared the angle with the frame. Then drilled the top hole.
After securing both bolts, lay the square flat on the frame and mark the angle iron.
Next move the angle iron to the position of the front mounting bracket. Using a C clamp secure it to the approximate mounting location. Measure the center to center distance of the cooler mounting holes. Raise the angle until it matches the mark previously made with the square laying flat.
Drill two 3/4 inch holes through the metal shield toward the front of the tractor. Align these holes with the cooler ports. Next remove the return (Low Pressure) hydraulic line to the transmission. It is located on the left side of the transmission and connects to the hydraulic control valve. The 90 degree aluminum tube on the lower part of the picture is the new line to the cooler.
The other end of the existing tube connects to a tee on the control valve. Connect the other new line to this port.
The hoses are routed along the left side toward the front of the tractor and then looped backed toward the cooler on the right side. Four foot sounds like overkill for the hoses until you look underneath the tractor. They are also a standard length which is more readily available. I am very satisfied the the performance of the cooler installation. The cost was about 1/2 of the OEM version. George of Buford

George: I'm extremely interested in this myself for my two 300 series yanmars. My main concern is that on my '22, I've got a 2000-rpm pto and I might not have the room. Your pictures are going to help there. Next, how much trash do you generally get in the fins when you're mowing? Even with the 48C mulching deck on the '32, a lot of trash gets blown out the back. I've learned to always use an air gun after every major mowing. rick n. |

Rick The pto is not a problem I will take it off of your hands and you will have plenty of room then. AJ |

Rick, Don't have much problem with trash on the fins. I also blow the mower after using. You probably can install the cooler on your 322, but it will be pretty tight. Had some trouble uploading pictures that is the reason for multiple posts. George of Buford |

George, Sorry I didn't respond. Thanks for putting this in one spot. Your expertise here is evident with these newer tractors. Now, what about that solenoid divertor? |

Robb, I need to take a few pictures and will have to remove the rear fender deck. I have been busy using the tractor for grading my son-in-law's back yard. The alternator bearings locked up and it took me two weeks to get parts. I will fix it and bring it home this weekend for pictures. Don't worry I did not forget. George of Buford |
