Notes from the Founders, Robb and Mike

Welcome to the Weekend Freedom Machines John Deere Garden Tractor forum. A forum for lively conversation and wheeling-dealing on these well made and historical tractors. To fully appreciate all that the Forum has to offer, we suggest that you become a registered user. Registration is required to access and post to certain areas of the Forum, including the Classifieds. Membership is free, the only requirement is a valid e-mail address. Open registration can be done by clicking here.

By registering for a Forum ID, you agree to use this site as it is intended. Your User Name doesn't have to be anything fancy. We only have about 3000 members, so chances are, you can keep it simple. Please use your real full name. People here are friendly, so we should all know who each other is. Also note that City and State are mandatory fields and your registration will not be active until those fields are populated. After you have registered, both your email address and your password can be changed from your Profile screen. You will need to Log In to access these fields.

Some of our members have asked how the Founders keep this site going, and have offered to help with expenses. Primarily the sponsors pay for this site. Please contribute through your patronage. If you like what you see, and would like to help us grow, you can support us through many means; posting on the forum, contributing items for the Model Info pages, or making a money donation thru our PayPal Account. A donation of $5.00 a year, about the cost of one newsstand magazine, will continue to help keep this site free of pop-up ads and growing to meet the needs of collectors and restorers of John Deere Garden Tractors. Another option is to purchase items form our WFM eSHOP. Lots of COOL WFM gear can be purchased to show your support for the site. All donations will be deposited in the Weekend Freedom Machines.org treasury, and used only for site improvements and operating expenses. If you would like to contribute by other means, email us at www.WeekendFreedomMachines.com

Please respect others and follow the Golden Rule. Everyone enjoys good debate, but members that are involved in FLAMING or derogatory comments towards other members or their machines can and will have their membership suspended or deleted.

Please correctly use the proper Forum Pages. A separate forum has now been added for late model John Deere Lawn Tractors and Garden Tractors. Please pay close attention to the proper placement of topics. Items or posts listed on the incorrect pages will be deleted or moved. If you dont find a Forum that fits your discussion topic, drop an email to a Founder. Maybe we need to add another topic.
